lanvin for h&m

The ‘Lanvin for H&M’-campaign has been a while in the stores, but, really, I’m already expecting more. The Cocktail dresses looks like ‘Lanvin for poor’. Too many patterns, colors and prints on the dresses. The hairstyles of the shootings are not really appropriate to the dresses. Too much hype at all. But the men’s collection is great. Classic and chic.
In my opinion, H&Ms Problem is that, her clothes look cheap. So, you can’t expect much, if the clothes are sewn on the ships.
So, that’s only my opinion, at all.

Sorry, guys, but these cuts we have seen them so many times, and sooo better

comeback?

So, guys! I’m only a fourteen-years old guy from Berlin. Taking seriously: for so many people, fashion is her life, and for me? The most my contacts are in the same age, we don’t come from an english speaking country, so our English is bad. All says ‘oh, yes that’s style, I love fashion.’ But no one can distinguish Prêt-à-Portér and Haute Couture.
It makes no difference whether I blog or not. It’s to complicate.
Everybody wants to hear “Oh, yesterday I was walking. I found some nice rings, and drinking my Starbuck”
So the Question: “Blogs make you Indie?” No, but that’s not the point.

So I think, I blog again. And not like before. MORE, OFTENER, BETTER.

perte de la couleur

I know, it’s a little bit late for blog about the Resort-Collections, ‘cause the collections were presented in the beginning of june. I’ve been looking at many collctions and you can say, yeah many designers and labels used many –and mostly varied colors. A little bit like Luellas former collection, simpel and colourful.
From Lanvin I was a little disapointed. I was hoping he would design something more elegant. The shoes tell everything, but I want to show you the nicest photos of his collection. So if you want too see the ,ugh, shoes click at style.com and search Lanvin’s collection.

2 . 4 Alexander McQueen

orange hair

It looks a bit like Tavi Gevinson's style. A little bit granny-ish. One cloth wrapped over another cloth.
For me, it’s instructable, at least at first view. For most it looks likely to clap so composed, but in reality all these clothes are lovingly compiled. Colors that are normally used in the fashion industry do not coincide, dares to combine Vivienne Westwood. The makeup of the models looks a bit smeared.
Fashion can not be voided just. If you wear a baggy sweater, ‘cause you want say “Fashion is useless”,
that will us show even more how important fashion is for you. And therefore is that a great collection, because it has a wonderful charm of how lovingly but yet a little bit sloppy cover over the models.
Actually I’ve received an email, with the wish that I post over Vivienne Westwood platform shoes, but these collection is so, so, so great, that I dedicate my attention to her first time. Have a very nice, nice day!

anuschka anuschka

Anuschka Hoevener is a Fashion Designer, who lives and works in Berlin. I discovered her, or let say a showroom of her, when I was walking down Kastanienalle. I looked through the store window and I was thrilled. It’s interesting how she can give a smart woman an rough and male appeal. As your probably already found out, I love such this kind of woman’s fashion absolutely. How ever, the pictures on her homepage are perfect. God, this wonderful concrete floor. Enjoy to look at it.

Simple white

Tze Goh is a Fashion graduate from Central Saint Martins College London. Her collection is very minimalistic. She uses only one color: white. And also the shape is quiet simple.
But wait … why a post, if it’s ordinary simple? So Tze Goh prefers simple forms. But she designed giant collar, extreme wide shoulders and giant capes. It puts a big tention, because most designers always and every time wont to have something extraordinary. That’s right, but as I understand Goh’s collection, she wants her customer to imagine the colors by them self.
You can make the most wild fantasies in your head. Because the simple white offers a lot of room for these ideas.
But in praising we wont be minimalistic. Very very nice!

harpies and sirens

They look like harpies and sirens. Like goddess of beauty. They hairs are combed backwards; they are tiny and look symmetrical. Wrapped into tulle dresses or golden shining dresses but they don’t look overloaded. They enchant the picture. They look with a strong expression but also roboters like. Yes, they are the models of the collection ‘Duality’ of Jan Taminiau.
An important roll plays the heavy ancient hand woven Chinese cloth and also the embroidered fabric.
Jan Taminiau defines in this collection the woman’s silhouette new, broad shoulders, slim and long necks and for all he doesn’t emphasize the waist. Concerning colors he hangs back ‘cause Eggshell color, light blue, crème color and a little bit gold aren’t dominant colors. Anyhow Taminiaus recent collection is a real eyes spectacle, never to be forgotten so quickly. Definitely I lift the shining thumb up.

Origami

Alexandra Verschueren is a Fashion Design graduate of the ‘Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp’. Her collection 2010 medium is magnificent. Because it’s the best example for that fashion is an art, but not only things to put on. For this collection she designed clothes made of paper. She combined with clothes made of textile. Her clothes haves sometimes colorful lines and also paintings just done by child.
Most recently a lot of young designer use paper, because you can constitute something sculptural by paper. Few years ago, this was quiet exceptional.
So then, Alexandra Verschueren, you did really excellent work.

power sister

Before, Laura and Kate Mulleavy are genius. A just have been looking around what the in California born power-sisterteam Laura and Kate have to offer in their men-collection in her Rodarte-label. That exceeded all expectations. Really!
Look at these photos. It’s amazing how they use cloth and other materials. One half knit and the other half fabric sewn together. So diverse, but also wonderful harmonizing.
Not only the view is breathtaking, no, but also the price. Unfortunately at don’t belong to the people, who can take easily $2,750 out of their purse. But still I didn’t lose all my hope that I will get one these spectacular pieces.

sleek stray glitter

Hey guys, last week I came across with ‘sleek’-Magazine. But only today I come to blog.
I think the cover is really magic. It looks like embroidered on visual.
Nice photos, but in my opinion it’s too much black and white.
The articles please me, they are simple, short and nice. English as well as German.
‘Cause I’m from Berlin I was very interested in the articles ‘Berlin People’ and ‘Berlin Places’.
„Berlin has become a state of mind that is not confined to a geographic location. Acknowledging the globalization of the Berlin phenomenon, we present Berlin Places in London, New York, Bergen, Bad Gastein – and Berlin“, Sleek.
The paper smelled like magazine-shop and a little bit like forest. And also one big plus is that there is not so much advertising as in Vogue. But I must admit sometimes I really love to view advertising.

Wunderkind session

Now I want to show you Wunderkinds Spring 2010 ready-to-wear collection.
I found it in ‘material girl’ issue 10/summer. It was clearly the clothes that my attention was directed to Wunderkind totally.
Just Couture!
By the way for this collection the russian Ranya Mordanova, 18, modeled. She is one of my favourite. She has a pot haircut, distinctive features and wonderful eyes look.
So, in this year I like the RTW-collections all in all, but Prada and Wunderkind are on top. Surely you know, why I think so.
In his collection Wolfgang Joop makes it again and again to create a structure, that has a clear line but is also smooth and feminine.

here is in the middle Ranya mordanova

On this Photo Ranya Mordanova is left

I just love both of these wonderful tights of Lena and Tenko.

gold and sand

When I just was looking at Fall 2010 READY-TO-WEAR collections I was a little frustrated ‘cause I think there was so heavy and dark.
Please don’t miss understand I’m not the one who likes only ‘colorful and shrill’ but this cloth look very thick. Maybe it’s all because I’m fed up with the cold and I do not want to occupy with thick, heavy cloth.
How ever I hope that the Designer will use their sewing machine. But now enough.
In fact and just wanted to say, how much I like the Acne Fall 2010 RTW collection.
‘Cause it looks gently but it also seems at keeps warm and autumn.
This time the Acne collection, as I think looks ‘combatitiv’ but also very classic.

nice nice runway photos

, so have a nice day. xo xo, raban renatus ❤

Oh Luella Oh

So bright pastel colors, simple, short, straight to inspired by the sixties. Oh there are Luellas girls, but the latest collections were as far as I know anything but clear and simple.
This one is my favorite of her collections. I think this has samthing. Some clothes are rather simple and plain, and then ... boom comes, a total eye-catching piece of clothing / accessory. Really I have been always a fan of Luella.
Yes, this simple, but also princess-like and totally wacky Luella Bartley represents in their collections.

So You guys, if you have such friends as Luella, then you appreciate happy, because without them they would never have her own fashion label founded.

Armchair with an antlers-armrest.

Do you ask yourself, who designed this extraordinare furniture? Rick Owens!
I think, that every of his furniture is almost an art object.
I mean to sit on a armchair with an ‘antlers-armrest’. Very silly, but Owens likes that, he has done these furniture for himself.
But does he really drink his coffee every morning in this uncomfortable armchair? I don`t know.
This exhibition is shown at the gallery ‘Apartments Alexanderplatz’.
To bad that he made only furniture for himself. So because I would buy one of them, for sure.

Such as in his collections Owens doesn’t take a lot of colours, but it this reduced way it looks better anyway. Have a nice day.

buffet buffet buffet

So I was just flicking through an old INDIE magazine an than I found … tam tam tam, an article about Emma Bell.

Guys do you know Emma Bell? Don’t You? Then it becomes high time to get to know. Okay, it least it’s fashion.
Obviously Emma Bell has a preference for clothes, which has burgers, bananas, cake and other food. Of course it’s knit on.
It’s looks very fairytale like, she is inspired by poems.
Colorful fairy, okay, that might be not very appropriate.
But the hairstyle of the models is fantastic, don’t you think so?!
My favorite piece of her collection is ‘Buffet Dress’, AW09 collection, that made her famous.
And what is your favorite?

VINTAGE KNIT.

That's the 'Buffet Dress'. So Emma Bell is the one who dances with burgers.
It turns me to cake (picture sound like me)

Her SS10 collection.

11 April 2010

Yesterday is today.

Today I’ve seen a young lady who looks like Dita von These, powdered white, red lipstick, black hair.
To me her transparent tights seemed to be the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. They had a small black line from their shoes up to her vintage skirt, which made the legs look extremly thin. Unfortunately I got no picture of her.

So the 20s to 80s are back!

...but what is tomorrow?

If you want to get a ‘Retro’ make up, you must brush two parallel lines over your upper eyelid, duh! These two lines have a second wonderful effect, it optically streamlines the eye.
Decent but glamorous
So ladies, reach for the powder.

material girl is back.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Respect ‘material girl’.
It’s a magazine from Austria, which inspires and brings out outstanding articles and creative photo galleries.
In my opinion the ‘beauty’-part is the best, because it shows silly, sustainable and before unknown ‘beauty’-products such as ‘candles instead of creams!’. There is shown, how you can use candles growing as skin care cream or the article ‘Haut-Cuisine’ as it comes to use special chocolates for skin. ♥ raban
